Dr. Jonathan Glauser is currently Professor of Emergency Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. He is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
He has been active in the education of medical students and resident training for over three decades, and is currently on the full-time faculty of the residency program in Emergency Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center/ Cleveland Clinic.
He serves on the editorial advisory board of three publications in the field of emergency care, and is section editor in Infectious Disease for the journal Current Emergency and Hospital Medicine Reports. He lives with his wife in the greater Cleveland area.

Dr. Jeffrey M. Kagan is a board-certified internal medicine physician and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, currently practicing with Hartford Healthcare Medical Group. He earned dual bachelor's degrees in biology and health sciences, a master's degree in physiology, and his medical degree. Prior to medical school, he worked as a Certified Physician Assistant. He completed his residency in primary care internal medicine and remains deeply committed to medical education, actively teaching medical, physician assistant, and nurse practitioner students, as well as internal medicine residents. Dr. Kagan serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, and holds courtesy faculty status at the Yale School of Nursing.
A Certified Medical Director (CMD) by the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (PALTmed), Dr. Kagan has extensive leadership experience across specialized care settings. He serves as the medical director for several group homes and has previously directed skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, and hospice programs, having formerly held board certification in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine. Frequently consulted by his peers regarding practice management and the business of medicine, Dr. Kagan serves on the Editorial Board of Medical Economics. He consults for attorneys, insurance, pharmaceutical, and wealth management companies, and acts as an expert witness for plaintiff and defense malpractice cases, as well as for the Connecticut Department of Public Health. A recipient of the Vincent J. McClain, MD Professional Service Award, he previously served as a Professional Director with HAVEN, advocating for and monitoring impaired health professionals. His special interests include diving medicine, medical-legal cases, risk management, and medical trivia. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kagan enjoys bicycling, boating, scuba diving, golf, and skiing.

TRIP CANCELLATION
Reimburses your prepaid, non-refundable travel expenses if you need to cancel your trip due to a covered reason, such as you, a family member, or traveling companion experiencing a covered illness or injury. Examples include:
- A doctor says you or a traveling companion is too sick to fly
- Your parent or child requires hospitalization
- You need to attend the birth of a family member’s child
- You have a traffic accident (not breakdown) on the way to the airport
- A storm shuts down your airport for 24 hours or more
TRIP INTERRUPTION
Reimburses your unused, non-refundable travel expenses and increased transportation costs during your trip if you have to return home early due to a covered reason, for instance when a family member has a qualifying medical emergency and needs your care. Examples include:
- You have a covered illness or injury and a doctor says you must return home
- A family member has a qualifying injury and needs your care
- A covered emergency, like a fire or flood, makes your home uninhabitable
TRAVEL DELAY
If you have a covered delay while traveling, travel insurance can reimburse you for meals, accommodations, and transportation expenses when your trip is delayed for a minimum number of consecutive hours for a covered reason. Minimum number of hours varies by plan.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE
