Course Description:
This all new 12-hour seminar will review the fundamentals of physiology and pathophysiology for the major body systems. Algorithms for assessment and nutritional support will be discussed and applied to typical patient presentations. The information and discussion will derive from standard textbook information but will then interweave the unique and holistic ideas of such nutritional innovators as Dr. Royal Lee, Dr. Weston A. Price, and many others to provide an approach that blends "the old and the new" in a practical and easily implemented way. These ARE the cases the present in our offices nearly every day. Learning Objectives:
- Provide sound basic physiological and pathophysiological information for each of the body systems discussed.
- Review and understand orthodox therapies that may well be or have been recommend to the patient.
- Consider and discuss the role of dietary changes or intervention for each of the body systems considered.
- Provide practical and easily implemented steps to apply the information in practice immediately.
- Clarify limitations for practitioners based on scope of practice issue in various jurisdictions and for various licensees.
